Legal troubles continue for Chart Topping Artist
Fetty Wap, 31, whose name is Willie Junior Maxwell II, and five co-defendants were accused of conspiring to possess and distribute more than 100 kilograms (220 pounds) of heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine between June 2019 and June 2020. Fetty Wap pleaded guilty in federal court to conspiracy to possess and distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine, according to the prosecutor's office.
Fetty Wap's bond had been revoked earlier in august after allegedly pointing a gun during a facetime call. No sentencing date has been set, yet.
Fetty Wap, in 2015, could be heard any and everywhere. as his "Trap queen rose up the chart and even reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May. He followed that up with his next two chart toppers, "679" and "My Way" His album, "Fetty Wap" had 4 top 100 singles and "Trap Queen" received Grammy nominations.
