The mission sttatement for the event states 'The Houston Based independent record company L.O.U.D.|Muzik created L.O.U.D. Fest as a celebration for creatives living out their dreams. Whether it's music, fashion, film, food, painting, or any form artistic expression we want to celebrate you!"

A few things to look forward to from the event is the "Boost Mobile Producer Beat Battle", which is three rounds w/ single elimination, $1000 Grand Prize, Official Championship Belt, and an Official 97.9 the box on-air mixer for the day.
